SCOTT CURRIE

 

Scott Currie is a Fully Qualified P.G.A Professional delivering Golf lessons at Fairfield Golf & Sailing Club. Scott has a wealth of experience as a golf coach, tournament player, and golf club teaching professional.

 

Having spent many years playing the game and over 30 years of teaching experience in the game. Scott has built a fantastic reputation of coaching all levels of golfers from complete beginners to established low handicap players to golf professionals.

 

Scott's first teaching experience came having lessons aged 9 years of age. After a successful junior playing spell at Sale, G.C Scott turned professional and started working for Robert Ling aged 16 Years at Withington G.C South of Manchester. Here as Robert's assistant, Scott learned a great deal about the industry while coaching golf and playing professional tournament golf. Robert's knowledge of the golf swing and his ability to coach all levels of golfers rubbed off on Scott. Then a spell at Marriott Worsley Park with David Screeton another very reputable golf professional in the area enhanced his appetite for golf coaching before a move to Boysnope Park for Scott to set up his own Golf Academy in 1999.

 

Presently Coaching at Fairfield Golf and Sailing Club we have everything we need to provide a great learning environment. Facilities at the Manchester course include an Indoor Swing Studio,practice area, and Chipping area.

 

At Scott Currie Golf we use the latest Hudl video software to analyze your golf swing along with Foresight GC Quad Launch Technology, Tomi putting lab software to check your putting characteristics and patterns. Then set a plan to improve your putting based on measured facts!
